After completing her studies in equine management, Mirjam gained experience in various areas of the horse industry, with a particular focus on horse breeding. Her journey took her to a stud farm in Sweden, the State Stud in Celle, and later to a small P.R.E. stud in Baden-Württemberg, where she worked as a stud assistant. To complement her equestrian background, she pursued additional training and became a certified Digital Marketing Manager.Today, she works full-time as a Content Manager for an online equestrian retail business. Horses have been part of her life for over 20 years—she’s been in the saddle since the age of four. In 2017, Mirjam became the proud owner of a pony mare. Due to health reasons, riding is no longer part of their routine, and her focus has shifted toward clicker training and classical in-hand work, which have become her new passions.Writing is her second love. She has already published a young adult novel—naturally, with horses playing a central role—and more novels are currently in the works. Her mission is to combine both passions—horses and writing—by creating in-depth, experience-based articles on horse health, breeding, and training.
My passion for horses began at the age of six. From the moment I first visited the local riding stable, I was completely captivated—and horses have never let me go since. When I got my first own horse, it quickly became clear that I wanted to spend not only my free time but also my professional life surrounded by these wonderful animals.I began my trainer certification, but soon realized that this alone wasn’t enough to truly support horses and their owners on their unique journeys. So I began expanding my knowledge to include influential factors such as husbandry, nutrition, equipment, and training methods.Eventually, I completed a certification in equine physiotherapy at the German Institute for Equine Osteopathy. This allowed me to analyze the root causes of movement disorders and performance issues on an individual basis and achieve the best possible treatment outcomes.
